Scale
2 lbs chicken wings
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
2 tbsp honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
For the Marinade:
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the marinated chicken wings on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are cooked through and crispy.
In a small saucepan, combine the ingredients for the glaze and cook over medium heat until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Toss the baked wings in the glaze until evenly coated. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
