Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups softened butter (salted or unsalted)
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2-1 cup sprinkles in colors of your choice (optional)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Beat softened butter and 3/4 cup powdered sugar with a mixer until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well until combined.
  4. Add salt and all-purpose flour to the wet ingredients.
  5. Mix until the flour is just well combined and no dry streaks remain.
  6. Fold in white chocolate chips.
  7. If using, fold in sprinkles and/or mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  8. The dough will be thick.
  9. Using a small cookie scoop, drop rounded portions of cookie dough onto cookie sheets.
  10. Ensure to leave about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
  11. Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are just starting to lightly brown.
  12. Remove the cookie sheets from the oven.
  13. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for at least 10 minutes.
  14. If desired, dust the cooled cookies generously with additional powdered sugar.
  15. Store the finished cookies in airtight containers at room temperature.

Notes

Ensure your butter is truly softened, not melted, for the best dough consistency.
Do not overmix the dough after adding flour to keep the cookies tender.
Use a small cookie scoop to ensure uniform cookie size and even baking.
Dust with powdered sugar while cookies are still slightly warm for better adherence.
