- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) Unsalted Butter, softened
- ¾ cup Granulated Sugar
- ¾ cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 ½ cups M&M’s Christmas Candies
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Stir in the M&M’s Christmas Candies.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
- Press a few extra M&M’s into the tops of the cookies (optional).
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
