- Combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

- Let the batter rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake.
