An incredibly easy and addictive sweet and salty chocolate candy made in your slow cooker, perfect for holiday gifting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 ounces white chocolate almond bark broken into pieces
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces chocolate bar or chocolate bark
  • 5 cups salted dry roasted peanuts
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of your crockpot or insert a crockpot liner for easy cleanup.
  2. Line 2 baking sheets with silpat liners or wax paper and set aside.
  3. Place the broken white chocolate almond bark pieces evenly on the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips, chocolate bar pieces, and salted dry roasted peanuts on top of the almond bark.
  5. Place the lid on the crockpot and set it to the low heat setting for one hour.
  6. After one hour, remove the lid and stir the mixture thoroughly to combine and cover the peanuts with the melting chocolate.
  7. If there are still solid chocolate pieces that haven’t melted, replace the lid and continue to cook on low, stirring every 15 minutes, until all the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  8. Once all chocolate is melted and coats the peanuts, use a cookie scoop or two tablespoons to scoop a heaping tablespoon of the candy mixture onto the lined baking sheets.
  9. Immediately add sprinkles (if using) to each scooped candy piece before the chocolate sets.
  10. Let the candy set out at room temperature until completely cooled and the chocolate is firm.
  11. Store the finished Crockpot Christmas Crack in an airtight container.

Notes

Using a crockpot liner makes cleanup a breeze.
Stir the chocolate mixture every 15 minutes after the initial hour for even melting.
Have your baking sheets prepared before the chocolate is fully melted to work quickly.
Add sprinkles immediately after scooping, as the chocolate sets fast.
