  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant—about 1 minute.
  • Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, stirring gently. Allow the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes, thickening slightly.
  • Stir in the lemon juice and Parmesan, allowing them to melt into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat with the creamy sauce. If needed, use reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  • Gently fold in sliced smoked salmon and dill, mixing until well combined. Cook for an additional minute to warm the salmon.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with capers if desired.
