  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2-4 ounces Dark Rum or Bourbon (optional)

Instructions

  • Chill coconut cream and coconut milk.
  • In a high-speed blender, combine the coconut cream, coconut milk, maple syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • If desired, add dark rum or bourbon to taste.
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness and spices to your liking.
  • Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick before serving.
