  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg (or Flax Egg)
  • 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Dairy-Free Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened dairy-free butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the vanilla extract and egg (or flax egg) until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Stir in the dairy-free chocolate chips.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes (or overnight) for best results.
  • Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
  • Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
