Sweet, chewy coconut and rich chocolate combine in these incredibly easy-to-make, no-bake treats that require just three ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded coconut unsweetened
  • 1 cup condensed milk or coconut condensed milk
  • 3.5 oz dark chocolate or chocolate chips, for melting

Instructions

  1. Pour the shredded coconut into a bowl.
  2. Add the condensed milk to the bowl.
  3. Mix the coconut and condensed milk together until a thick mixture forms.
  4. Form balls using 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture.
  5. Place the formed balls onto a lined baking sheet.
  6. Refrigerate the balls for 15-30 minutes to solidify.
  7. Alternatively, freeze the balls for 5-10 minutes if in a hurry.
  8. Melt the chocolate using a microwave in 20-30 second bursts, stirring between each.
  9. Alternatively, melt the chocolate using a double boiler method.
  10. Dip each chilled coconut ball into the melted chocolate.
  11. Ensure each ball is completely covered in chocolate.
  12. Transfer the dipped balls onto a wire rack placed over parchment paper.
  13. Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature.
  14. Transfer the hardened balls into the fridge to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Ensure coconut balls are well-chilled before dipping.
Melt chocolate slowly to prevent seizing.
Use unsweetened shredded coconut for best flavor.
Place parchment paper under the wire rack for easy cleanup.
