Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sliders Zesty easy recipe for game day or a quick meal Make flavorful sliders today

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¾ cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 cups prepared coleslaw
  • Blue cheese dressing (optional)
  • Celery sticks (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the chicken breasts until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). You can bake, boil, or grill the chicken.
  • Shred the chicken while it’s still warm. It will be much easier to shred and will absorb the buffalo sauce better. Use two forks to easily pull the chicken apart.
  • In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, hot sauce, melted butter, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
  • Taste and adjust the sauce as needed. Add more hot sauce for extra heat, or a touch of honey for sweetness.
  • Toast the slider buns lightly to prevent them from getting soggy.
  • Spoon the buffalo chicken mixture onto the slider buns.
  • Top with coleslaw and a drizzle of blue cheese dressing (optional).
  • Serve immediately with celery sticks on the side (optional).

Notes

Juicy, shredded chicken drenched in tangy buffalo sauce, piled high on soft slider buns, and topped with creamy coleslaw. Perfect for game day gatherings, potlucks, or even a fun weeknight dinner.
