Ingredients

  • Red Velvet Cake Mix
  • Cream Cheese
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Cool Whip
  • Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Pecans (Optional)
  • Christmas Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Bake the red velvet cake according to package directions and let cool completely.
  • Prepare the crust with butter and pecans (optional), bake until golden.
  • Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Mix in instant vanilla pudding mix and milk.
  • Fold in Cool Whip until well combined.
  • Crumble half of the cooled cake into the bottom of a dish.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cake layer.
  • Top with the remaining crumbled cake.
  • Chill for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  • Sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles just before serving.
