Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan thoroughly.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix just until combined. Do not overmix.
  • Transfer the batter to a piping bag or Ziploc bag. Cut off the corner of the bag and pipe the batter into the donut cavities, filling them about two-thirds full.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
