  • Melted coconut oil (or other oil)
  • Vanilla extract
  • Milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • Powdered sugar
  • Maple syrup (optional)
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
  • Chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and spices.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the butternut squash puree, brown sugar, eggs, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and milk.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
