Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (113g) Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup (60g) All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup (40g) Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5g) Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1g) Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup (85g) Chocolate Chips, semi-sweet or dark chocolate
  • 4 ounces (113g) White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) Vegetable Oil
  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat until well combined.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat until smooth and creamy.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with slightly moist crumbs attached. Don’t overbake.
  • Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting and drizzling.
  • For the white chocolate drizzle, melt the white chocolate chips with the vegetable oil in a microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.
  • Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cooled brownies.
  • Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy!
