  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast.
  • Add the water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Stir in the cranberries and walnuts until evenly distributed.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
  • After the dough has risen, preheat your oven to 450°F and place a covered Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  • Remove the hot Dutch oven from the oven and carefully place the dough inside.
  • Put the lid on the Dutch oven and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown.
  • Let the bread cool before slicing and serving.
