  • 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar (white or apple cider)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls, potato rolls, or brioche)
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the chicken breasts using your preferred method (bake, poach, slow cook, or grill). Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Shred the cooked chicken while it’s warm using two forks or a stand mixer with a paddle attachment.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the buffalo sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
  • Add the shredded chicken to the buffalo sauce mixture and toss to coat evenly. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Toast the slider buns lightly.
  • Assemble the sliders by placing a generous amount of buffalo chicken on the bottom bun, topping with coleslaw, and placing the top bun on top.
